This Sunday, November 8 we will be having a short remembrance day service at Saint Mary‘s town Street Middleton starting at 10:45 am. The restrictions mean we not having anything in church or at Saint Cross on that day. Please if you come just come in the churchyard and don’t stand on the path or street. Please maintain social distance, and please don’t break the rule of six . Please wear face coverings if your health and other issues permit. There will be the usual two minutes silence at 11 after the reading of the names of the war dead and laying of wreaths and the blowing of the cornet. The last post.Hard times for everyone but our church will be there and in future weeks open for prayer and of course our church Foodbank will be open every Wednesday until further notice between 10 am and 12 noon. We are here to help if we can. I pray every day for you the people of Middleton who is my privilege to serve albeit very imperfectly . I am thankful for a great team here who make up for my imperfections. Also please be aware we are praying for our country and the world and these difficult times love from your vicar Andy
