It is with great sadness that we have decided to close both st marys and st cross for Sunday worship from tommorow Sunday 10th Jan 2021. This is following the advice of Director of Public Health Leeds City Council and supported by our church council and Bishop. The concern is related to the virulence of transmission of the new strain of Covid 19 and there is no compulsion in law but we do not feel in a position to take responsibility to offer a Covid safe environment in open church services in the light of the national lockdown and the intensity of the mutated virus

Foodbank as legally permitted still will open at st cross with parcels collected at door and face coverings worn by those who do not have a medical condition which prevents .

Funerals also up to 30 guests inside church and weddings up to 6 guests under strictest Covid safety conditions still allowed

Keep safe everyone we will rise again! Andy the vicar
